Celebrating a Century of Culinary Excellence: The 100th Anniversary of L’Auberge Paul Bocuse
In 1924, the Bocuse family transformed a country inn near Lyon into what would become one of the most legendary gastronomic institutions:
L’Auberge Paul Bocuse.
This year marks a century since that moment, celebrating the culinary legacy of Paul Bocuse, which lives on through a network of over 20
establishments across France and Japan, including fine dining restaurants, brasseries, and bistros. Alongside these, his culinary school,
the Institut Paul Bocuse, has trained thousands of aspiring chefs, creating his influence across generations.
Today, L’Auberge which has held three Michelin star for decades, stands as a bridge between the past and the future, honouring Bocuse while embracing modern culinary trends. For this milestone, L’Auberge offers a ‘Menu du Centenaire’, featuring Bocuse’s iconic dishes, from truffle-infused Bresse chicken to lobster gratin, inviting guests to taste the soul of French gastronomy. Under the leadership of longtime ‘Meilleur Ouvrier de France’ chefs Olivier Couvin and Gilles Reinhardt, the restaurant has evolved its menu to highlight seasonal flavours, lighter dishes, and intricate presentations, balancing tradition with innovation. Meanwhile, Executive Pastry Chef Benoit Charvet reimagines desserts, presenting an extensive dessert list that combines contemporary creations with classic French confections.
So, feeling inspired to savour a century of French culinary excellence?
With the ‘Menu du Centenaire’, the only question left is: when is your reservation?
