Recap of Our Grand Theatre Reopening & Beaujolais Nouveau Event 2023

Dive into a magical night celebrating French culture and the arrival of Beaujolais Nouveau 2023! On November 16, the Alliance Française of San Francisco was in a vibrant atmosphere. An evening filled with wines, discussions, and dance-worthy beats, all while unveiling our new theater.

Folk Music with Jerry 
As the doors opened for the first arrivals, the evening began with the melodies of the Jerry, filling the air with folk melodies that created a friendly atmosphere. Guests enjoyed these tunes while conversing, tasting the Beaujolais Nouveau 2023 for the first time, and embracing the festive atmosphere. Attendees also indulged in delicious plates of charcuterie and cheeses.

Next, the Director and the President of the Alliance Française and the Consul General of France had speaking time regarding the significance of Beaujolais Nouveau and the Grand Reopening of our historic theater.

DJ Dany Donowitz animates the party
The tempo soared when DJ Dany Donowitz took the stage, mixing electro rhythms, blending French and English songs. The dance floor vibrated with guests showcasing their best moves, relishing every moment of this exhilarating music.

We express our sincere gratitude to all who contributed to making this Beaujolais Nouveau event a success. Special thanks to the Alliance Française Berkeley for assisting in organizing the event and to our devoted volunteers. A special acknowledgment to Dany Donowitz, whose DJ set set the night ablaze, and to the Jerry & Friends band for enchanting us with their captivating folk music.

No celebration is complete without delicious fare, and our thanks go to Galaxy Dessert for their tempting sweets, La Fromagerie for their assortment of authentic French cheeses, and Fabrice Delice for the charcuterie that awakened our taste buds.

Of course, the star of the evening, Beaujolais Nouveau, would not have been possible without the wines from Quintessential. Their contribution elevated the event, allowing us to raise our glasses to this cherished French tradition.

Finally, a special thank you to Raphael for capturing the essence of our event through his superb photographs, immortalizing the ambiance of the night.

As we bid farewell to this incredible night, we carry with us memories of laughter, great conversations, and the spirit of gathering.

Récapitulatif de notre Grande Réouverture du Théâtre & de l'Événement Beaujolais Nouveau 2023

Plongez dans une nuit magique célébrant la culture française et l'arrivée du Beaujolais Nouveau 2023 ! Le 16 novembre, l'Alliance francaise de San Francisco était dans une ambiance vibrante. Une soirée remplie de vins, de discussions et de rythmes dignes de la danse, le tout en dévoilant notre nouveau theatre.

Musique folklorique avec le groupe Jerry & Friends

Dès l'ouverture des portes pour les premiers arrivés, la soirée a commencé avec les mélodies du groupe Jerry & Friends, remplissant l'air de mélodies folkloriques qui ont créé une ambiance conviviale. Les invités ont profite de ces airs tout en conversant, dégustant pour la première fois le Beaujolais Nouveau 2023, et en embrassant l'atmosphère festive. Les convives se sont également régalés avec de délicieuses assiettes de charcuterie et de fromages.

DISCOURS enrichissantes avec des intervenants principaux

Ensuite, le Président et la Directrice de l'Alliance Française ainsi que  le Consul général de France ont eu un temps de parole concernant la signification du Beaujolais Nouveau et la Grande Réouverture de notre théâtre historique.

DJ Dany Donowitz anime la fête

Le tempo a grimpé lorsque DJ Dany Donowitz a pris la scène, mixant des rythmes électro, mêlant chansons françaises et anglaises. La piste de danse vibrait avec les invités qui faisaient leurs meilleurs mouvements, se délectant de chaque instant de cette musique enivrante.

Nous exprimons notre sincère gratitude à tous ceux qui ont contribué à faire de cet événement Beaujolais Nouveau un succès. Un merci spécial à l'Alliance Française Berkeley pour avoir aidé a organiser l'événement et à nos volontaires dévoués. Un remerciement particulier à Dany Donowitz, dont le set de DJ a enflammé la nuit, et au groupe Jerry & Friends pour nous avoir charmés avec leur musique folklorique envoûtante.

Aucune célébration n'est complète sans de délicieux mets, et nos remerciements vont à Galaxy Dessert pour leurs douceurs alléchantes, à La Fromagerie pour leur assortiment de fromages français authentiques, et à Fabrice Delice pour la charcuterie qui a reveille nos papilles.

Bien sûr, la star de la soirée, le Beaujolais Nouveau, n'aurait pas été possible sans les vins de Quintessential. Leur contribution a rehaussé l'événement, nous permettant de lever nos verres à cette précieuse tradition française.
