Make Music Day Recap
Last Friday, the Alliance Française de San Francisco’s celebration of the Make Music Day was a huge success! Many faces both old and new came out to hear amazing local music. The Garden Groove theme was in full swing with butterflies suspended from the ceiling in the library and a huge toucan behind the band in the theater. Some partygoers even sported garden themed costumes including floral dresses, button down-shirts and one couple that dressed like tropical birds. The seven incredible bands created a lively and fun ambiance with their performances. Guests were dancing and singing along to some of the classic French songs covered by the French inspired band Rue ‘66.
A huge thank you to all of the performers who made this night special by bringing their musical talent to the Alliance. Thank you as well to all of our community partners for providing delicious food and snacks! We also could not have made this night possible without the hard work of the AFSF’s dedicated staff, interns, and volunteers.
We are already looking forward to the Fête de la Musique 2025!
