Bill O'Such photography of Paris

"Inspired by Bresson, my passion is street photography but also interesting angles of Paris and other cities. I was introduced to silver halide photography by my father, Chester J. O’Such, via the family’s Ansco reflex camera and home darkroom. After college, I worked as a photographic engineer at Eastman Kodak, where I began to learn the art of photography. With my first SLR, a Canon AE-1, I photographed my inaugural voyage to Paris in 1982. This early spark turned into full passion when I became a Kodak expatriate in Paris from 1995-99. Before returning to the USA, my future wife Ineke and I bought an apartment in the Marais district. I continue to visit Paris 2-3 times per year to wander the streets, camera in hand, looking for the next vignette and regularly share my trips on the site of Alliance Francaise de San Francisco website and had a photo exhibition there with some of my framed photos still hanging on the walls (and available for sale)."
