We offer small group classes (with a cap at 10 students) over the summer to offer the maximum attention to each student and multiply their opportunities to practice their communication skills in French.

Teen French 1

Teen Summer Class - Intro To French

Audience: Students who do not know any French or who are at a beginner level. 

This class explores the basics of French through many fun and engaging activities iWe also use educational videos and sometimes present them with the lives of other teenagers in francophone countries. Over the summer, we'll cover how to introduce yourself in French and learn how to ask questions to someone.We'll talk about presenting your family, your hobbies, your daily life and food... And a lot more!
At the Alliance Française of San Francisco, you are free to ease your way into a better pronunciation, comprehension and oral expression quickly.
Our teachers will keep a fun, safe and enjoyable environment for you to improve on your language skills and learn the fascinating world of French Culture !

Teen French 3 Review (for students entering AP French in the Fall)

Teen summer class
Our teaching focuses on conversational french based on authentic teaching materials such as french pop songs (understanding lyrics and nuances), reading films scripts, discovering new art and comics in the francophone world. We have created a wide range of activities that make learning grammar, syntax, vocabulary and pronunciation that makes the class interesting and fun !

Notre enseignement se concentre sur conversation basée sur du matériel pédagogique authentique tel que des chansons de la pop Française et de la francophonie (comprendre les paroles et nuances), la lecture de scénarios de films, la découverte des nouveautés de l'art et la bande dessinée dans le monde francophone. Nous avons créé un large éventail d'activités qui rendent l'apprentissage de la grammaire, de la syntaxe, du vocabulaire et de la prononciation intéressante et ludique ! 

This class will continue during the year as a preparation class for the French Language and Culture exam (AP French)


**Please note: This class requires a minimum level of A2 completed, ready to begin learning the B1 level. a DELF A2 certificate is reccomended. This class is also an open video onscreen class. Students may not attend without the teacher being able to see and hear them.
