Camp Counselor

Job description

We are looking for French-speaking camp counselors for an ONSITE summer camp working every afternoon M-F from 1 to 5 pm.

Dates: July 8 to August 16 (6 weeks), *plus some days the week of June 24 for camp set-up (timing flexible).

In the morning, you will teach French and play French language games.

In the afternoon, we do outdoor sport, arts and crafts, science experiments, games, and treasure hunts. You will need to create a schedule of activities per theme, organize, plan the material and animate.

We are looking for someone :

- reliable

- with a great energy and creativity

- experienced with kids (even if it's just tutoring, previous babysitting, or having kids yourself... )

- who is conscious and pays great attention to safety

- bonus if you have pediatric CPR/ First aid and EMSA certifications

TB test and live scan required

Job Types: Temporary, Part-time

Salary: $18.10 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
• Experience with Children: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• French (Required)

License/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
