What WE OFFER:

The Alliance Française of San Francisco provides :
Language courses for adults, children, and businesses who want or need to learn French
Language certifications including the TCF and the DAEFLE
Cultural activities for adults and children that present a comprehensive look at Francophone culture in the 21st century

library and other online resources for both native speakers and students of French

Whether you are a native or fluent French speaker, a student of the language, or an interested non-French speaker, you are welcome to participate in the wide range of activities offered throughout the year.

We offer a wide range of classes and individual instruction in French, both on and off-site, from absolute beginners with no previous knowledge of the language to students at an advanced level. Our class sizes range between 4-12 students and are taught by native speakers. We also house the oldest French library in the Bay Area, and largest collection of French books West Mississippi, which is open to the public.
